Welcome to 2024 and 1/2K
Welcome to another exciting year!
Our class has been very busy settling into new routines and learning about one another. It is pleasing to see the positive attitude and maturity of students towards their learning so early in the year. I am sure this year will be fun, exciting and rewarding for all!
This term we will be having sport on Friday at 9:20. During this time we will be learning Fundamental Movement skills which include throwing, catching and vertical jumping.
Our library time this term is on Thursday afternoon at 2:20 to 3:20. If you wish your child to borrow from the library, please give them a library bag to transport the books home.
We endeavour to have Crunch and Sip at approximately 10:00 Monday to Thursday and 10:20 on Friday due to sport. Please include a piece of fruit or vegetable that is easy to eat in your child’s lunch box each day.
We do dance on Wednesday at 12:10 in the hall with Mrs Lukic. This may change next term.
Open communication is very important. Should you have any queries regarding your child, please send me an email through the school email address Berowra-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au . As I am teaching, attending meetings and have other duties throughout the school day, I may take 24 - 48 hours to respond.
