Berowra Public School P&C is an incorporated association made up of parent and citizen volunteers who are in some way associated with the school.
During school terms, the P&C meets in the staff room at 7pm on the third Wednesday evening each month. All BPS parents and carers are very welcome to attend and contribute. It's a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and if you're keen to learn more about what we do and become involved please come along or get in contact with us.
The P&C is a great way to get involved with the school and our community, and to help with the development of our school. We co-ordinate social and fundraising events throughout the year, organise working bees to maintain and landscape the school gardens and oversee the running of the canteen, uniform shop and band.
The P&C exists and operates to support the welfare of our Berowra Public School community. Our goals include:
President: Simon Spencer
Vice President: Erin Sutton
Vice President: Vacant
Treasurer: Deb Cook
Secretary: Clare Salke
Should you wish to join the P&C and volunteer your time at some events we require our volunteers to have a current "Working with Children" check completed. Once your application has been processed please provide the Secretary with your WWC number and your DOB so you can be verified.

An Appendix 5 form is also required by the Department of Education for any volunteer. This form needs to be completed and 100 points of ID presented at the school office prior to engaging in an volunteer activity with the school.
If you would like to get in touch please send an email through to BPSPandC2080@gmail.com or grab one of our Committee Members at school for a chat!
BPS has been successful in becoming a donation partner on our local return and earn machine. BPS will feature from the 24th August 2020 on the machine located in Berowra Heights.
We encourage anyone from our local community to begin collecting eligible containers and donating their returns directly into our fundraising account by selecting ‘BPS’. All funds raised will go directly towards the upkeep of the school vegetable garden.
