National Harmony Day is celebrated every year on the 21st of March.
The aim of this day is to celebrate our country's cultural diversity. It is a day of cultural respect for all Australians from the traditional owners of this land to those who have come from many other countries. Harmony Day is coincides with the United Nations International Day.
The theme for 2014 is ‘ Together We Can'.
Students learn about different countries and cultures leading up to, and on Harmony day through informative and hands on activities.
